Fordham & Dominion

Dover, Delaware brewers

In 1989, Old Dominion Brewing Co. established a brewpub operation in Ashburn, Va. Six years later, downstream in Annapolis, Md., the roof of the Rams Head Tavern was removed and a brewhouse lowered in to enable the creation of fine beers under the Fordham banner.

The fate of these two breweries would eventually intertwine as Fordham relocated to Dover, Del. in 2003 and, in 2007, Fordham and Dominion joined forces. In 2009, the two consolidated operations in Dover to become the Fordham & Dominion Brewing Co.
