Attention beer lovers, tickets for the third annual Odessa Brewfest are now on sale!

This year, the Odessa Brewfest – one of Delaware’s biggest and most successful beer festivals – will take place on Saturday, September 10 at the Wilson-Warner House, 202 Main Street in Odessa.

The annual fundraising festival which benefits the preservation, conservation and education efforts of the Historic Odessa Foundation (HOF) returns this year with regional and national craft breweries, local gourmet food, live music on two stages, colonial reenactors, and artisans.

Some of this year’s more than 40 participating breweries include: 3rd Wave, 16 Mile, 21st Amendment, Allagash, Belukus Imports, Brooklyn, Cisco, Dogfish Head, DuClaw, Elysian, Eurobrew Imports , Evil Genius , Evolution, Flying Dog, Flying Fish, Fordham & Dominion Heavy Seas, Lagunitas, Lancaster Brewing, Long Trail, Mispillion River, New Belgium, No Li, NorthCoast, Oskar Blues, Otter Creek, Rogue, Sea Dog, Shiner, Shipyard, Sierra Nevada, Sixpoint, Sly Fox, Starr Hill, Stewarts, Stone, Stoudts, Tall Tales, Troegs, Twin Lakes, Uinta, Victory, Weyerbacher, and Yards.

This year’s live musical entertainment line-up includes reggae evangelists Spokey Speaky and Rainbow Full of Sound, an emerging Grateful Dead tribute band. Additional musical acts will be added to the schedule in the coming months.

Colonial reenactors, Rich and Linda Wagner will be demonstrating the colonial brewing process from start to finish. In full period dress, the Wagners, will make beer on site using historically accurate methods and materials—copper kettles, wooden barrels, hops and grains.
