Eighth Beer of Christmas 2017: New Belgium Accumulation
On the Eighth Day of Christmas, my brewer gave to me... New Belgium Accumulation!
New Belgium Accumulation
This winter, IBUs start accumulating like snow in Colorado with New Belgium's new Accumulation White IPA. For New Belgium, brewing a white IPA is not only a way to salute the white snowfall, but it is a direct revolt to the longstanding tradition of brewing dark beers for the winter season.
This rebllious beer flavor brings tropical fruits, bright citrus, spicy and herbal dry hopping together in the Holiday spirit, creating a new reason for the season. Stack up a few cases of Accumulation White IPA to keep your long nights glowing blizzard white.
The Beer
Accumulation's pale, wheat malts are perfectly combined with plenty of Nugget, Centennial, Mosaic and Amarillo hop varietals, giving it a big and bitter flavor. The sweetness of the ale yeast and wheat smooths out the rough bitter edge for a bright and fruity finish, just what this IPA ordered.
The ABV is 6.2%.
Holidays in Historic Odessa
Step back in time at the Historic Odessa's annual holiday celebration - a seasonal tradition of interpreting scenes from classic literature. This season our celebration lasts from November 14 through December 31, 2017.
This year's theme is Clement Clark Moore’s, A Visit From St. Nicholas. This delightful story published in 1822, often referred to as "Twas The Night Before Christmas", will be recreated again in the Wilson-Warner House, c. 1769.
