Evil Eye Ale vs Greenville Ale
Today it's pale ales—hold the India—from two local breweries with national aspirations. Twin Lakes' Greenville is named for the town it calls home, just astride Wilmington, Del. The brewers boast of the water they pull up from the aquifer beneath their farm, but its main calling card is a floral hop taste and notes of citrus. Philly's Evil Eye also balances its hoppyness with a citrusy flavor and distinct notes of pine and malt. Two good brews for a summery pale ale experience.
