Odessa Brewbracket returns June 1st!

The famous Odessa Brewbracket contest is back!

This year, 32 breweries will compete for your vote as we narrow the list down to two finalists. The champion will be decided by Brewfest voters on September 9th.

Blue Earl: 2016 Brewbracket Champion

After coming on the scene back in 2014, Blue Earl has earned a name for itself as Delaware's 7th microbrewery. Blue Earl produces Hoppy American Ales, Belgian Specialties, German Ales & Lagers, and an ever changing variety of seasonal offerings.

Blue Earl made a successful first appearance at the Odessa Brewfest by winning the 2016 Brewbracket! 

Winning by nearly one hundred votes in every round, Blue Earl beat many favorites like Dogfish Head, Mispillion and 3rd Wave (both previous winners) -- Mispillion was crowned champion in 2015 while 3rd Wave claimed the title in 2014.

Voting for this year's Brewbracket starts June 1st so keep your eyes out from the first round of breweries that will battle for the title of Odessa Brewbracket Champion!

About the Brewfest

The Odessa Brewfest benefits the conservation and education efforts of the Historic Odessa Foundation, which maintains homes and gardens in beautiful Odessa, DE, only 23 miles south of Wilmington.

The Brewfest returns September 9, 2017 and features over 50 breweries offering the finest regional and national craft beers, as well as locally produced wine and spirits. There will also be live music, food, crafts, historical demonstrations and vendors.
