Regional Breweries Battle in Annual Contest for Fun & Prizes

The Odessa Brewfest returns to Odessa, Delaware for the fourth year on September 9, 2017. Brewfest fans know what that means: the very best craft beer, wine & spirits, along with fresh food, artisan vendors and live music in a beautiful setting.

But you don't have to wait until September 9 to get into the Brewfest spirit. The famous Odessa Brewbracket contest is back, pitting brewers head to head, tournament style!

This year, 32 breweries compete for your vote as we narrow the list down to two finalists. The champion will be decided by at the Brewfest on September 9, 2017.

Blue Earl made a successful first appearance at the Odessa Brewfest by winning the 2016 Brewbracket! Previous winners have included Mispillion, who was crowned champion in 2015, and 3rd Wave, who claimed the inaugural title back in 2014.

All the breweries are top notch… but there can only be one winner. Votes are tallied on the website; popular vote determines who advances each round.

Pitting Maryland's Heavy Seas against Pennsylvania's Sly Fox in the opening round, we find two fan favorites battling to advance in the opening round of the Odessa Brewbracket. Both breweries have a healthy selection of craft beers, ranging from pilsners to pale ales. Vote now »
