Twelfth Beer of Christmas 2017: Tröegs Blizzard Hops

On the Twelfth Day of Christmas, my brewer gave to me... Tröegs Blizzard of Hops!
Tröegs Blizzard of Hops [1]
Tröegs created BLizzard of Hops to toast hop growers around the world for another successful harvest. This storm of hoppy citrus and pine notes is a bright reminder the end of the Hop Cycle is only the beginning.
This IPA is light bodied and extremely drinkable. Your glass will be empty before you even know it; disappearing like Santa Claus after he delivers the presents and slips up the chimney, leaving only a few cookie crumbs as evidence that he was even there.
The Beer
Blizzard of Hops is a winter IPA, combining Centennial, Chinook, Galaxy and El Dorado hops for a refreshing, but dry, finish. The taste of sweet Pilsner and Wheat malts evenly balance the citrus hop flavor. The aroma of citrus hops is a welcome break from the spiciness of winter warmers and holiday ales.
The ABV is 6.4%.
Holidays in Historic Odessa [2]
Step back in time at the Historic Odessa's annual holiday celebration - a seasonal tradition of interpreting scenes from classic literature. This season our celebration lasts from November 14 through December 31, 2017.
This year's theme is Clement Clark Moore’s, A Visit From St. Nicholas [3]. This delightful story published in 1822, often referred to as "Twas The Night Before Christmas", will be recreated again in the Wilson-Warner House, c. 1769.
