2016: 2SP Brewing vs Brooklyn Brewery
2SP Brewing Company describes its signature IPA as containing "punishing hops & therapeutic malts." Helmed by former award-winning Iron Hill brewmeister Bob Barrar, 2SP opened with much fanfare in summer 2015 and has quicky made a name for itself in the local beer scene. FInd you balance with one of Barrar's fine creations.
Better known is Brooklyn Brewery—and its fame is well-earned, being a microbrewing pioneer (founded 1988) responsible for bringing brewing back to the home of the Sweathogs. You gotta love a brewery that uses hops from the farm one of their employees grew up on in New York state. The beer is pretty darn good, too.
Vote for one of these breweries and help us pick a 2016 winner, to be announced at the Odessa Brewfest on Sept. 10.
