2018: Victory vs Flying Dog
The second round of the #OdessaBrewbracket pits Pennsylvania's Victory against Maryland's Flying Dog. Every vote counts!
Victory
Victory is now the 26th largest brewery in the country and makes its beer in Downington, PA. The operation has grown to produce over 93,000 barrels of beer a year, including such popular styles ranging from Double IPAs to Lagers. They're all about intriguing beers with fresh harvests, like their 21st Birthday IPA which is brewed from the Yakima harvest. It's a fan favorite with aggressive kettle and dryhopping that ends up opening up hazy, nutty flavors in your mouth.
Flying Dog
Flying Dog is as well-known for what's on its bottles as what's inside them. Flying Dog lives up to its fanciful name, producing beer that balances sweet and experimentally strange flavors together. Their beer selection features Bloodline Orange Ale, which uses the citrusy sweet blood orange juice to complement the overall taste of ale.
