2014 Music Lineup for Odessa Brewfest
Is your taste in music as eclectic as your taste in beer? If so, you can’t go wrong at the Odessa Brewfest. Enjoy tasty tunes along with tasty brews in historic Odessa, Del. on Sept. 6 as we welcome to the stage reggae evangelists Spokey Speaky and country crossover specialists Philbilly.
Spokey Speaky
Wilmington’s own Spokey Speaky channels Jamaican legends such as Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff and Toots & The Maytals in high-energy live shows combining great musicianship, a jam-band sensibility and a genuine love of reggae music. One of the most popular live acts in the Delaware Valley, Spokey Speaky is the soundtrack to summer in venues from city to coast. Enjoy good vibes and consciousness-raising as you raise your glass at the brewfest.
Philbilly
Tip your hat to Philbilly, “modern country that rocks.” Ever heard AC-DC played with a twang? Michael Jackson on mandolin? Yet Philbilly does more than surprise you with their country-pop mashups. (Yes, they do requests!) They play a wide variety of music by today’s best country artists, from Carrie Underwood and Garth Brooks to Zac Brown and Miranda Lambert. You don’t need friends in low places to appreciate the fun, funky vibe of these urban cowboys. Just don’t spill your beer while you line dance!
Check back to the Odessa Brewfest website for more news on live music and other entertainment as the festival approaches.
