2015: Mispillion vs Fordham & Dominion
Our lineup of Delaware beers continues with two more excellent breweries going head to head. Mispillion River, out of Milford, produces delicious concoctions "brewed with calculated randomness"—Reach Around IPA, Praetor (porter), Beach Bum Joe and the unique single hop series, among others. The magic is all on display at the brewery's tasting room just off Delaware's storied Rt. 113.
Just up the road in Dover you'll find Fordham & Dominion, the result of a 2000s marriage between two regional craft brewers. The union has proven successful, with popular beers like Hop Lips, Abby Ale and Double D some of the many offspring. Tours of the brewery are popular and kids are welcome—F&D also brews up its own root beer, creamy orange, black cherry, and ginger ale.
Vote for your favorite of these fine Delaware brewers in our brewbracket!
