Briefly Noted News: 2015 Odessa Brewfest is September 12
ODESSA, Del. — The 2015 Odessa Brewfest on Saturday, Sept. 12, will welcome 56 participating regional and national breweries. Of special note, Alpine Beer Co., out of San Diego, Calif., is making its premier in Delaware and will be on tap at the Brewfest, as will craft brewer Firestone Walker, also new to Delaware.
The festival will introduce the First State’s newest brewer Blue Earl Brewing, Co., and present a new style of beer sweeping the nation presented by Coney Island Hard Root Beer.
Brewfest is held by Historic Odessa Foundation, on the grounds of the 246-year-old Wilson-Warner House, located at 202 Main St. Tickets are $50 for general admission, with gates open at 2 p.m., and $15 for designated drivers which includes access to food, music and vendors, and includes free soft drinks.
